my story begins…

The Start
  • As a child, I played all types of sport
  • My key strengths were: badminton, football, tennis, running, and snooker
  • I enjoyed competing in team sports from a young age
  • I was drawn to golf during Covid, from wanting to find another sport to play alone in the garden

How It Started
Late 2021 – Early 2022

During the end of Covid lockdown, coming up to my 16th birthday:

  • I picked up a golf club from my garage, and started hitting balls down the garden. It clicked. I was hooked from day one
  • From then, I played my first 18 holes and began my self-taught journey

First Competition
April 2022
  • Within 6 months of self-taught golf, I achieved a 1.3 handicap
  • This involved no lessons. Just dedication, watching the best players of the world on TV, and constant practice
  • So, I played my first ever junior golf competition, where I came 11th at the age of 16

Getting Serious
2022 – 2024
  • My first competition changed everything, golf became my sport
  • I invested in lessons and custom fit clubs, through Wham Golf, attending lessons with George Wollaston and purchasing my own kit
  • During the rest of 2022, I played for my school golf team of which I became Captain in 2024
  • I played more junior amateur events
  • By the end of 2022, I got to scratch handicap
  • For the 2023 season, I played around 8 events with 3 top 10 finishes
  • I then played for Knole Park's junior team, when I was a member there

Last Year as a Junior
2024 – Early 2025
  • Started off 2024 with a Mizuno Pairs Oxfordshire Singles competition: I achieved T5
  • I played my first big 3-day men's open at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, my first golf competition abroad
  • During that year I played my first professional golf competition on the Clutch Pro Tour as an amateur and shot -1 in my 2nd round
  • I took part in the oldest open golf competition, the Royal Blackheath Boys Medal, and achieved 9th place
  • In my final year as a junior, I captained Sutton Valence school golf team. We succeeded to the ISGA Matchplay Finals
  • I came 3rd in my club championship at Chart Hills
  • I won my first ever golf competition: the John Sherwood Trophy at Canterbury Golf Club
  • To end the year on a high: I came 2nd in a Junior European Open qualifier at Caversham Golf Club, which fast-tracked me to an event in Spain in November
  • After Christmas, I went to Dubai for some winter training and based myself at Els Club Dubai for a month to work on my game for the upcoming season
  • I played some amateur events in Dubai before returning home in February
  • I turned Professional

Life as a Pro
2025 – Now
  • After turning pro in 2025, I played 6 professional events, pro golf is a big leap
  • My game has constantly been improving, I learned valuable lessons in 2025 and played with some top pros
  • 2026 is my first fully committed year as a pro golfer, at just 20 years old
  • I began in January and returned to Dubai to my home club, Els Club, for 2 months to graft
  • Now, I have 2 coaches onboard, Ben Quinney & Peter Mitchell
  • My time in Dubai tremendously improved my game
  • Upon returning home, I immediately went to South Africa to start my professional 2026 season
  • In my first event of the year, on the Bushveld Tour, I made my first professional cut and came Top 10
  • The week after, I played a Monday qualifier for a Big Easy Tour event, in a 6-man playoff for 4 spots, I won the playoff with a birdie
  • I returned to the UK to play Clutch Pro Tour events, found my footing and got a T7 finish at Ogbourne Downs. I was -5 thru 11
  • The event of the year, the Open Regional Qualifying. I had a fantastic round, but under the pressure, coming down 18 at -4 inside the cut, I hit a poor wedge making bogey and currently sitting in reserves
